The paint sucks, but it's what they already had developed. The 2005 design I did looks much better, but I can't show that one yet.
(Imagine Pace Car paint).
Anyways, that rendering is more for sponsorship presentation, where the sponsor wants to see all the places their decal goes in one
tidy image.
Otherwise I'd pick more dramatic angles to display the car.
For my business, the practicality/re-use of the design is most important. It's nice to have a good looking image, but in my business
I also have to re-use it for other jobs later to make it most profitable. If it's not easy to edit, then it ain't worth diddly to
me. Artwork like that vette takes around 8 hours to produce (sans decals), but once my 'template' is created I can produce new art
with differing paint schemes in about an hour for each (depending on the job).
Just caught yer other post about using the same process. Good to know. Let me know your rates and I might have work for you in the
future if interested. I ain't guaranteeing anything, and I'd need to see some of your vector files before dishing out work, but I
get pretty busy in the spring with race and toy season and can always use some help 'building' templates.
If interested you can go to rpm-design.com and email or call using the contact info there.

Not "Progressive" - check the "Optimize" box instead. Before you attach the
image to your post open it in your file viewer and click on the Info
button - it should be RGB (listed as JPEG/JFIF not as JPEG - CMYK)
Nice Impala. Cory. That blue looks just right.

My next car was a blue AMC gremlin... (ever try and fit a guitar amp in a
Gremlin?) but I always wanted an ElCamino.... side pipes, wide slicks on
the back, major metalflake paint.... an engine so big you need a step ladder
in the front seat to see over the intake....

speaking of guitar amps, (way off topic) here is a 725k snippet of my
variety band playing an AC/DC tune. We just got a new singer, he can sing
that stuff pretty good. This is direct off the mixing board, and only the
second time we've played it! It's really fun to go from this to polkas to
country music... :-)

Now if car manufacturers would only make "new" ones like Ruth's, they should
still have all the tooling stored somewhere and could use that instead of
wasting money coming up with all these "new" designs that I can't tell from
one-another. I'm still waiting for those cool designs I see in my 1940's
popular mechanics mags.....
