Hey folks... I was wondering if there's anyone out there who uses Corel
Draw and PP in conjunction with NOF MX?

If you do... and you have an interest in sharing tips and tricks with
others... please let me know.

Thanks,

Ransom

Hi Ransom,

I use NOF 5, with Draw and PP 9 as my main graphics tools. How do you find
MX? I have several sites that have been done in NOF5 - the graphics for
these sites were done more or less entirely in PP9, Draw9 and Corel
Texture9.

www.scstonecrushers.co.za <-- Lots of textures and gifs, animations done in
PP9
www.coles.co.za <-- Textures in backgrounds, plus wood header and buttons
www.transplant.co.za <-- Preview window 'shows' what's on a page

If you have any specific tips, or specialities, let me know. Any questions
about these sites and how to get the effects in NOF, I'll help you out.

Regards,

Sean

Hi Sean... The upgrade is well worth the $50 U.S... MX is quite a bit more
stable. The site recovery process has been automated and a function to
reoptimize sites has been added. The ability to generate from any view not
just publish view has been added and now you can import Word documents
without getting all the MS garbage that used to import with them.

The sites you've done look great... Corel seems to work really well with
NOF... especially for creating your own site styles. I also found that the
imagecutter script in PP9 that creates its own HTML page works well when you
install the graphic as referenced HTML in NOF...

There's an example in a large graphic I did in PP9 for the site:
www.jennymay.com

Draw and PP9 were used for all the graphics in the site.

If I can find enough folks who use both products... I'd like to start a
bulletin board or a mailing list for tips and advice.

Thanks for sharing your work,

Ransom
