Hello Paul,

What is the "Save Fix Update"? Is that separate from Service Pack 1? Was it
issued via the InstallShield Update Manager? How would I know if that update
had been applied? I have the Update Manger set to manual. I'd like to know
how to uninstall the InstallShield Program. It runs all the time and I'm not
happy about that. I'm also unhappy about how essentially a separate program
was bundled with Service Pack 1. Can you tell me where it was mentioned? Was
there some information I missed? There was no readme file that was
downloaded with the Service pack.

Hi -
I was also annoyed at getting popups about the updates - sometimes popping
up whilst I was showing a powerpoint presentation to a large audience. I
contacted Installshield who sent me the following uninstall gizmo (pasted
below).
Thank you for contacting InstallShield. Instructions for uninstalling the
Update Manager can be found here:

It works - it uninstalls the update manager. However, When I went to open
Corel PPaint, It asks for the disk to install it again - won't open unless
it's installed. Very frustrated with Corel since their disaster of Version
10.

I have again heard from Installshield who have given me a link to Corel's
site with info on making changes in the registry which will prevent the
problem -
