It sounds like your missing keyframes for the other objects.
Example:
1. Object "Text" goes from Keyframe 1 to Keyframe 25. This will appear in
all 25 frames.
2. Object "My OtherText" is only on Keyframes 1 through 10. Even though the
rotation tools show you can rotate this on Keyframe 11-25, don't believe
it - "it's not there and doesn't exist even thought it's showing handles"!
The secret here is to make sure you have keyframes for the object.
