Hi I have a question: I have a shape that has no fill but draw treats
it as filled, like when it's over something else I have to put it
underneath to access what's underneath. what do you do in the tools
options that objects with no fills are treated as unfilled objects?
thanks

Are you SURE that it has no fill? It sounds as if it's filled with White.
Select the object and left-click on the X in the color palette.

On the top toolbar go to Tools--Options--Toolbox--Pick Tool. There you
will find the setting for treating all objects as filled. Uncheck it.

thank you, that's just the answer I was looking for! Problem somlved. I
love this forum, informative and courtious to boot. Isn't CD12 awesome?
the way it can register shapes and everything. I upgraded from 5 last
year and I'm amazed at the technology.
