I make regular backups of all my files, and burn them on a cd once a month. I assume if I have a backup file of a a corel file on a cd, I can erase the backup file made by corel on my computer? It takes up space, and I can always get the file from the cd if there are problems.
Thanks beforehand

If you couldn't do that, then what's the point of making the CD backup?
But seriously - verify your backups first. Just make sure that your CD is readable. They have been known to end up as coasters.
