CorelDraw 10: moving from Vista Ultimate to *sighs* Windows 8.1 ... most of
the programs (Draw & PhotoPaint) not working expecially the effects in
PhotoPaint.

Have been using CorelDRAW versions since 3 (1992) - 10 (2000), v10 since
2000Pro but because of my old CP (w/ Vista Ultimate) finally having
"tired" and thus buying a new computer (April 24, 2015) which came
installed with Windows 8.1 (which in just a matter of days, I have come to
really question the sanity of Microsoft).

Windows 8.1 with both 32-bit & 64-bit, one would think, no problem,
CorelDRAW should install properly into the c:\Programs Files (x86), thus
maintaining compatibility with the Corel install.

*Sighs* Nope.

Anyone helpful or sources for us liking what we have (I can do same in my
old Corel 10 as with any newer version...might take a bit more steps/effort
but I enjoy exploring the tasks ... btw, am retired after 33 years as an
illustrator/computer graphic specialist in 2003)?

Biker.
