Does anyone remember that crazy CD9 SP1 where you had to set your clock
to 8 hours -/+ before it would install, and then set it back again!

As some of you may have noticed, the currently released Service Pack 1 (SP1)
is not applicable to all CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12 (CGS12) products. If
after installing CGS 12 SP1 you receive the following error message
when attempting to launch CorelDRAW or Corel PHOTO-PAINT, this means that
you have applied the English only CGS 12 SP1 to the Licensed Media Pack
(LMP) version of CGS 12.
"The UI Language registration list is invalid"
The CGS 12 LMP version is not supported by the current patch and should not
be applied. There will be a separate patch released for this version in the
coming weeks. In the meantime, you should uninstall CGS12 completely and
reinstall from the original media. Once the LMP SP1 is released, it will be
posted on Corel.com accordingly as well as notify it's availability via
Corel Update.
LMP is a multi-lingual version of CGS12 that is not distributed in retail
boxes and is typically made available via Corel License sales. Nonetheless,
if you are unsure what version of CGS12 you have installed, you can check by
doing the following:
Choose - Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs, CorelDRAW Graphics
Suite 12 - Change.
Then when the setup dialog appears, choose the Modify option and click Next.
If a Language selections dialog box appears that allows you to select from a
list of languages, you have a LMP version of CGS 12 and therefore should not
install the current CGS 12 SP1. Otherwise, you are not using the LMP
version and can install the currently available SP1 as you wish.
We appologize for any inconvenience.
Regards.
CGS Team
I have an academic version and indeed this selection box appeared when I
followed the above instructions.
This SP seems to have a lot of version "issues."

Microsoft changed the way dates were handled in the programming.

Does anyone know if this issue is already solved ? I also have the
academic version of CGS12 and updating with SP1 is impossible.
When starting the install, SP1 says 'no applicable products found'
Tnx
