names of days and months vanish!

I'm using CorelDraw 11.693 (service pack 1 installed) on a Mac OS X
(10.4.10). Whenever I type the name of a day or month (i.e. Tuesday
or February) then press the space bar, the word vanishes! It's making
me mental!
I've checked in "Quick Correct" and it's got entries to replace the
names of days and months typed without a capital first letter to the
correct version using a capital first letter. I tried typing names
with lower case letters. Corel replaces with the correct version
automatically, then deletes it as soon as I press the space bar or
return!
It happens in paragraph text as well as artistic text. I have no
problem with CorelDraw 11.633 on my PC.
Anyone else experiencing anything like this? Anyone have any ideas?
I prepare a lot of documents with lots of dates and this is going to
send me to a rubber room! Please help!

I'm experiencing the same problem. I used 11 on my PC without a hitch
but there is obviously a problem with Macs. I just started investigating
this problem so I don't have an answer for you but if I find a solution I
will post it here. If you by chance have resolved the issue and receive
this message I would appreciate it if you would post a solution / workaround
as well...
