I am running CorelDraw 11 SP 2 and the Save Fix patch under Windows XP Pro,
Pentium 4, 1GB RAM, stacks of harddrive.
I recently applied Windows XP SP2.
If I start a new Corel file, everything is fine until I reopen it.
If I now make any changes, and then Ctrl S or File Save I get an error
message "Error Writing d:/filename.cdr
I can save the file by doing a save as, but it would appear that I cannot
directly save the file.
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Jonathan

Is 'D' the drive you want to save to (it's usually the CD Rom or DVD drive
unless you have some partitions)?
Sorry, it may sound like a stupid question but only you know your setup.
If it is 'D' and not 'C', perhaps you should try holding down F8 when you
start Draw. Once loaded, try saving the file as you normally would.
Beyond all that, someone from tech support might chip in if none of the
above fixes it.

Thanks for the input.
The "d" represents any harddrive. I have SATA drives partitioned for various
tasks.
This only happened after I applied Windows XP SP2.
Non of the other apps, eg Photoshop CS do this.
Prior to this, everything worked as advertised.
