newbie questions

Hi

I have been recommended bryce for a project I am starting for my
honours year.
What I really want to accomplish is a 3d walk through/fly through the
mountains of glencoe, scotland with the user being able to navigate
through to a specific walk or climbing route, when they arrive at the
walk I would like to have a hotspot they can click on or hover over
with information regarding the climb/walk.

I have digital image maps for the mountain area, Im just not sure how
feasable my idea is within Bryce.

Can anyone help me as I have been stuck in 2D for years and really
wanting to branch into interactive 3D!
