Quattro Pro 10 running in XP has become unstable and stopped working

We installed Quattro Pro 10 (Version 10.00.671), from Family Pack 4,
two months ago in Windows XP. This week it became unstable and
unusable. When we open Quattro Pro and try to open a Quattro Pro
file, we get the CARM wizard. But all the CARM wizard does is to
inform us that the application has become unstable.

I uninstalled Quattro Pro and WP and reinstalled them. But Quattro
Pro still doesn't work. It's still unstable.
Are there known conflicts with QP10? Does Quicken2002 conflict with
it?
There are no patches for Family Pack 10. What can I do to get it to
work again?
