Well, after having a disk crash and trying to remember how reconfigure my
WP preferences, I'd like to backup the file that contains the Preference
information. If it's in the registry, where is it?

I tried to find the file/registry by changing the preference
"Default document Folder"
I used Find to find any files modified/created today and look for the
most recently modified file. I also looked in the registry to find the
directory that I specified in the preference and I could not find it.

Does someone know where the Preferences are kept?

Thanks.

is the key for location of files in the registry. There are other config
options there too. I don't know this for sure, but the file
C:\Corel\Appman\Profile\Nam.ip may also contain config data. Unfortunately,
I can't tell you if backing up this section of the registry and this file
will ensure that your config info will be safe in the event of a re-install.
I've never tried it.
