Problem is, the templates I have created, which are really very simple,
they create rather large files. An agenda item of, say, one page, has a
file size of approx. 90 - 100K. There is one wee graphic in it, a few
graphic lines and some styles. Nothing to Undo. When I create a similar
doc. from scratch, it is a mere 15 K.
The problem really comes when they put all the agenda items together
into one file. I use the subdocuments feature. If I create a test agenda
of 3-4 items, the file explodes into a half MB! And they can easily have
50 items, some with long descriptions, in one agenda; they have so many
things to discuss! And my system sends the agendas to all the county
politicians by GroupWise (they work from their homes). They will surely
get tired of downloading several megabytes of material - would be easier
to drive by and pick it up as a hard copy.
WHY ARE MY FILES SO BLOODY BLOATED!?
Please! Ideas?
