I have a WordPerfect 8 document that I would like to convert into a macro.
In other words, I need a macro that creates the WP document. I have tried
to record a new macro and paste the document into it, but instead of
inserting all the macro commands necessary to create the document, it insert
the command EditPaste(). Is there something I am missing here? Is there
some utility I can download to help me? Ultimately, I want to use this
macro as a framework for an OLE Automation program.

Thanks!

Timothy,

Really the only way to do what you want would be to use the OLECI
program that ships with the SDK and go back into WP and record the steps
from the tool. If you do that and you are using one of the tools that
we support with OLECI, once you finish recording in WP, OLECI will dump
out to the tool Automation code. You have to be using Delphi, VB,
Paradox, QPW, or Excel to use OLECI. But there is no tool right now to
do what you want to do.
