One of my customers has a vendor that wants to retrieve their PO's
from my system. They will then shoot them over the Internet to their
system. They are saying that they just run a windows script to prompt
the user for PO's with their vendor number. The script then queries
the database.

I know zip about Windows scripts. The user that generates these PO's
will be the only one running the script. The two tables will not be
in edit mode, since this user is the only person allowed to edit these
tables. Many other users view the tables in linked forms read only.

Should I be worried about their script running against these tables?
Are there locking, or table corruption issues? I could easily
generate target tables dedicated to their use only and populate them
as their PO's are created.

Thanks,
