Job title: Java Developer with C# and .Net

Location: NY

Duration: 1+ yr
Rate: $55/hr on C2C

**Heavy Financial and Minimum10yrs Experience**

Principal Responsibilities:

1) Analyze, design, develop, test, install and maintain information systems and java/.net programs in a multi-tier environment, to source and maintain Client Reference databases
2) Translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered business applications
3) Interface with users and other developers to determine the most cost effective approach to meet business requirements.
4) Design, evaluate and select tools necessary to build and support systems.
5) Create and enhance software related to processing client documents data.

Experience/skills:

Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in the following technologies:
• Java application development – Java/JSP/Servlets, JSF (for Web UI and middle tier), 5+ years of experience
• Strong database skills – 7+ years of experience in RDMS including data modeling, database programming, performance tuning
• C#, .NET, Windows Forms (for Ops Desktop type UI), 5+ years of experience preferred
• Experience with Junit and Fitnesse preferred
• Experience with Ant and CVS preferred
• Experience in Document Management and Semantic processing tools preferred
• Strong Understanding of OO practices and methodologies
• Experience in developing distributed applications using formal software development methodology
