Subject: Re: [DC] WSIS+20 Elements Paper - DCCG submission
To: dc <
d...@intgovforum.org>
Dear all,
As communicated during yesterday’s call, the deadline for submitting reactions to the Elements Paper has been extended by 20 days - it is now 25 July.
In order to be able to prepare the collective submission, all DCs are kindly requested to send in their individual submission with comments in their respective area of expertise by 17 July. Roman will collect them and submit them to the Co-Facilitators.
Many thanks to those who have already submitted their comments.
Best regards
Markus

It takes on board Muhammad’s suggestion to put the narrative in the first person plural and Torsten’s suggestion to add a line that the renewal of the IGF mandate. The first draft stated that the submissions of the DCs “do not reflect a consensus position”, Muhammad suggested it into “may not”. I took this on board but changed it into “do not necessarily reflect” a consensus position.

AS you will note, the draft mentions that iDCs may make individual submissions in their respective area of expertise. While the common submission will reflect a consensus position, the individual DC submission will not reflect a consensus.

You may wish to refer to individual paras of the paper that you find problematic or point our areas that are missing. However, please keep your submissions as short as possible, not exceeding a one pager.
