Hi,

Would anyone be interested in Alpha testing the graphical user interface version of Core Hunter? I have finished all the most basic features, but I am finding it increasing difficult to find time to test further. Particularly no real testing has been done on Windows or Linux.

Here is a short article on the difference between alpha and beta testing : https://www.centercode.com/blog/2011/01/alpha-vs-beta-testing/ in case you are wondering about the difference.

The zipped versions of the application can be found here, just unzip in a new folder and you are ready to go.

There is no documentation as yet, but the first thing you need to do is load a dataset, which can have phenotypic, genotypic and/or distance data. The objective is automatically guessed for you and you just need to select the dataset and click 'Start New Run'.

Please note this is not a released version yet, and although the algorithm is the same as Core Hunter version 3.1, please don't use it for your work yet, until we have an official release.

If you have any comments or questions, or notice any bugs please post your comments in reply to this post :)  Please add the version and build number in the comment. You can find this in the 'About Core Hunter'

Thanks in advance if you are able to help.
