next steps... and more Happy Hours?

Hey team!

I thought the happy hour was super fun and was effective at mixing up social/organizing circles and at giving us time to build with smart folks across the city... (and to check out another winning outfit from the bday lady!).

I wish I/we had brought a sign-in sheet to build our eblast list and also had taken some photos to post on FB.

I think there is a real openness on the part of the Activista folks to have us continue to co-host the monthly happy hours.  Shall we?

I want to post a "thank you" on our FB page for folks who came... and we could mention that we'll be doing it again, if you all are game for it too.

As for next steps, I think it would be rad to have Michelle and Sharon at our next Core meeting and to have a solid agenda to work with.  You all cool with that?  Let's dig a little deeper, keep the ball rolling, and whatever other metaphors are apt.

I will be out of town next week... but could make a meeting on Wednesday, June 5th.

I'd love to keep co-hosting the monthly happy hours with the Activista crew - & Sharon & Michelle, it would be great to have you at the next meeting! June 5th works for me. Here are some agenda items:

- Debrief about 5/16 happy hour

- Report-back from Nadia about 339 Lafayette

- Updates about the Commons, the Foundry Theatre, & the Bushwick space (if any)

- Relationship with Brecht Forum

- Other relationships to pursue (Interference Archive? Global Rhythm Group?)

- Realizing one or more of the events we came up with for our ideal week of programming

- Brochures / calling cards

- Team-building (ongoing; I think we agreed to dedicate an hour of each meeting to this?)

FYI I'm away for most of June so this will be my last meeting until late June or July.
