Lets party with vocal! We'll probably bring 40-50 folks judging by the last happy hours and I'm sure there's overlap. I make the Activista Facebook event a few weeks out so just make sure to send me final info and it will go up and I can even link to the vocal page as well. Sounds good y'all!

Don't mind having a MSP sign in sheet, but we'd wanna do the door and also have sign up sheet.
We have 1 or 2 DJs ready to spin, Frank's is pretty much booked, can be confirmed right when we decide and we may squeeze a drink deal out of them, but may just settle for being able to take over their space for the night
Coordinated synergy sounds great, BUT if at all complicated, we're ready to do a different night (which is also cool). We wanna decide very soon.Jeremy Saunders

Ok, just CC’ing Jeremy here. Jeremy, it sounds like we would want to collaborate with you on July 18th! (ie. invite our folks to your party, highlight the Movement Space Project a bit – they have been partnering with Activista Happy Hour). Lucas has some questions in his email below. I would vote for collaboration... that essentially we join forces to promote their party but also count it as our monthly happy hour. This is totally the kind of cross-pollination and uplifting of movement org work that most excites me. It will also have a built-in audience that will make for an impressive happy hour showing. I call this synergy!
SJL is not 100% confirmed for July, and we could always team up with them another month.
Oh, and Frank's is 1.5 blocks from my house, so I'm kinda biased.
If others are open to this idea, I could also run it by Lara, Nadia and Sharon from the MSP crew. The questions I'd have for VOCAL are: are they charging a cover? what time are they starting? would they be cool with us having a happy hour/MSP sign-up sheet there?
Thoughts?

July 18 also happens to be my last day at work, so i was going to invite everyone I've worked with to come out. Lots of stuffs and things. I'll leave it to you people who are smarter than me to figure this out. I'm down for whatever. personally, I'd just like to invite my people to join us whatever we're doing.
