Hey y'all! Here's a list of next steps Lucas & I came up with, plus a draft agenda for our meeting next Wednesday. Feel free to add / change / suggest as you see fit!

NEXT STEPS

Draft Facebook event image and text.  Send to Michelle for review. (Lucas & Lara)

Draft MSP email blast... send that out (Lucas & Lara)

Ask Michelle and Eli about possibility of re-naming the happy hour - maybe having people next Thursday suggest names/vote on ones they like best?

Set up Mail Chimp account for MSP to have nicer looking email blasts (Lara)

Create internal Google Pages for meeting minutes and other internal documents (Lara)

Work on text for postcard, building off of what Nadia sent out. Add the Happy Hour details to it. (ALL)

Go through list of people via MSP survey of folks with graphic design skills who can support the postcard design. (Lara)

Reach out to folks with good contact lists & ask if they'd be willing to help us promote the happy hour. (ALL)

Develop a template for partner groups' involvement (ALL)

     - We have one main partner & they reach out to other orgs & community leaders in their neighborhood

     - Ask them to come with an invitation to happy hour attendees - either concrete (Come to our rally next Monday!) or abstract (We invite you to incorporate such-&-such a lens into your framework)

     - Ask them to come up with one question for attendees that can be answered in a single word or phrase - have people write their answers on nametags & wear them

Contact OWS Screenprinters' Guild to set up shop at happy hours (Lucas)

AGENDA for June 19

- Finalize text for postcard

- Bring Michelle & Sharon up to speed about where we are in the MSP process

- Report-back about Lucas & Lara's meeting

     - check in with people about approach to partner organizations

     - check in about the happy hour: conversations we want to initiate

     - Who should we reach out to to help publicize the happy hours moving forward?

- Group-building

     - What are people's needs for this space? (e.g. flexibility about weekly meetings, phone vs. email)

     - Loaded questions / Scruples

- Growing the Core team
