See attached.

I tried to fit everything into one page.  Does it look ok from a graphic standpoint?  More importantly, how do we feel about the events listed, how they are described and distributed over the course of a week?

I took most of the items that Nadia highlighted as priorities in the google doc earlier today.  We generated a lot of amazing programming ideas, but since most of them were designated for the main space, I couldn't fit in everything.

Do we want to insert the "intentions" summary into this either onto the flip side or transform it into an 8.5x14 inch doc?

Hopefully this schedule sounds really compelling, dynamic, and yes, certainly FUN at times, even with few details and no orgs/people listed in conjunction with each event.

Send me your edits.  Use track changes if you can!

ONWARD!!!

xx

Made some small changes - mostly capitalization / punctuation / word choice, but also I replaced the Theatre of the Oppressed workshop with a healing workshop since there was already a somatics thing.

Also I reformatted the intentions doc so they match!

We were both working on this at the same time :)  So annoying that google docs doesn't let you format things nicely so we could avoid doubling up.

Lara, check out the version I have attached here.  I haven't been able to pick up the changes you made (no tracked changes) so if you spot more errors/needed updates let me know.  Theater of the Oppressed and SJL-style somatics trainings are usually really different, so maybe they can co-exist in the same week.  Your call.  There is a healing component to the writing workshop, for what its worth.

Also, I played around with the intentions piece and added an intro.  My housemate Yashna suggested breaking them up thematically and visually a bit, so I made an attempt at that.

I'm sending this as both a Word and a PDF version so you can see what if looks like with the fonts I'm using.

If people, send any last revisions with tracked changes.

onward!

I like the intro, but I feel like it makes more sense as part of the schedule rather than the list of intentions? I also like the new headings in the intentions list.

Forgot to track changes when I made these last edits, & didn't realize you were using fancy fonts so you may want to re-re-format. Sorry!!

I hear you on Theatre of the Oppressed, but I took it out anyway 'cause I'm not such a fan... Hope that's OK. I'm not at all wedded to healing as a replacement, so feel free to suggest something else if you have thoughts.

Oops, realized the intro text didn't quite make sense after I moved it. See attached edits - last ones I hope!

Augh, sent the wrong version by mistake. Sorry! Here's the right one.

I changed the part about "counter the negative impact of gentrification" 'cause I thought it made it sound like we were guiltily trying to make up for our own potentially gentrifying presence by providing services...
