Does anyone know Leah Feder? She's a friend of a friend, & apparently has some kind of relationship with 33 Flatbush. I'll reach out if no one else knows her...

think she's down with the TechOps crew. I'm on an editing team with her curating content for some Occupy web properties. but we only meet virtually so i know her more as a pixel.
but she knows me. so i could follow up. i just dont know what you're asking.

Our mutual friend said that she's been talking with some folks about trying to develop a plan for the building, so I thought it would be useful to check in / see if there are possibilities for collaboration. Michael, I can follow up with her if you don't know her well - our friend seemed excited to make the connection, so I'd like to meet her regardless.

Think I met her too at 33 Flatbush when Charles Lenchner was showing me around (didn't remember her name). I believe she works with him (head of Organizing 2.0) and this other dude in TechOps there who I hear is a Ron Paul devotee (ugh!).
They are working on creating a computer/hacker lab on the 2nd floor... which could potentially be compatible with what we're doing. Charles is a big booster of the MSP (he helped create our website), even though he's immensely frustrated with Al (the owner).
I don't think it hurts to hit her up, but if she's with TechOps then I'm sure she's heard of us from Charles. That said, if they are hearing about the project from different sources, I'm sure that will only help to strengthen our street cred.
Also, Lara, I think we should send a follow-up email to Al... thanking him for meeting with us and maybe asking what he thinks of our project after reading thru the materials we left him (if he bothered to do that). That sound about right?
