A pan-Europe bioacoustics monitoring network set up by Sarab Sethi at Imperial. We've been doing something quite similar (mostly for fun) in Sanjay Van, and have completed almost one full year of acoustics data along with periodic drone runs over the monitoring sites to characterize the seasonally changing habitat.
TABMON pulls data over the network which means much higher availability. For us, we've swapping SD cards every 3-4 weeks and it's been hard to ensure continuous data collection due to other commitments, also battery issues, and device theft! So having continuous connectivity is much important. TABMON also has put up a full fledged website to listen to the data, have experts annotate it, and so on:

Having such a pan-India biodiversity monitoring network in India will be fantastic.
