This is an awesome effort by Anand, Kiran, Shashank, and Paul at Auroville Botanical Gardens! Digitizing and geocoding the forest bible for India, Champion and Seth (1968). They are also working to cover other similar reference texts that will help provide tree species level changes over so many years.
