Just came across this: https://indianwetlands.in/. Super rich! Each wetland has a dedicated page to it with tons of data.

- They have a health card based on datapoints spanning human neglect, hydrological issues, biodiversity. E.g. https://indianwetlands.in/view-wetland-health-card/?ID=ODY=

- A detailed information sheet has been filled for each wetland. E.g.  https://indianwetlands.in/wp-content/uploads/briefdocuments/1765545760.pdf

- They use eBird data as well https://indianwetlands.in/resources-and-e-learning/data-corner/. eBird has specific hotspots defined for these wetlands https://ebird.org/hotspot/L2530954

Some of you may have seen the contribution that Anoop and Kaustubh are making in the CoRE stack innovation challenge, of doing something very similar, starting with waterbodies in Anekal in Bangalore and then to integrate into the CoRE stack for all waterbodies. Video, Drive. Looks like it's all headed in the right direction. And we can generalize soon to protected areas, grasslands, and more. You may have also seen this demo we put up for protected areas.
