Hi Everyone,

Here is a paper that might be helpful. 

Field edges enhance crop yields in wet regions but suppress yields in dry regions across the United States

Here is a simple insight that some scientists recalled: the irrigation infrastructure that humans generally are such that they are by default unequal -- more importantly unequal around boundaries -- and if could help machines learn this inequality, we can help machines detect Farm Boundaries. 

Funny that it is published in Cell journal.

Its like we know that we bake things on heated stove. So that gives us a crust on every slice. 

By simply looking for crusts, you can find breads in between.

Our Irrigation instruments also work similarly, they irrigate the crops at the farm boundary more than in its inner area.
