Hi all,

This is open for your feedback: https://core-stack-org.github.io/core-stack-docs/.

With a lot of interest from open-source contributors, we were realizing that our code documentation wasn't up to the mark and it was difficult for people to see everything end to end. Amit who got interested in the CoRE stack through the innovation challenge has led this effort. We are still improving several parts which aren't clear and reducing some repetition but I love the descriptions of the CoRE stack data structure and explanations of the underlying approach of landscape representation that we've followed, and which I hope will take the stack far to generalize to farms, forest stands, and so on.

Please do take a look and share any feedback.

This is all mostly for the core-stack-backend repo. We will similarly add documentation for other repos like the KYL explorer, admin dashboard, Commons Connect, etc. The backend can also be installed by anyone one, so in theory if you want to get your own CoRE stack instance going then you can do that. One leg of work we want to complete soon is that the entire stack is sort of hardcoded for India right now, and we want to make the layers and other things configurable so that it can be deployed for anywhere in the world -- new base layers like MWS boundaries will be generated using Hydrosheds basin and watershed maps, and become he underlying data structure registry for other layers.

sincerely
CoRE stack team
