A very cool procedure to detect weekly haats. They use 3m Planet imagery which is available every 30 hours or so to detect places which see a very regular weekly activity pattern. A range of methods starting with using OSM roads to some Sentinel-2 screening signals is used to narrow down potential market sites, for which Planet imagery is then analyzed.
