Sharing this major data upgrade and navigability on Know Your Landscape: https://www.explorer.core-stack.org/
Village entities on KYL are now super enriched with data from Mission Antyodaya 2020 which provides details on road and electricity infra, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, SHGs, farmer cooperatives... for 21 category groups built from 100+ variables. Plus accessibility to education and health facilities, agri markets, veterinary services... for 11 groups built from 25+ facility types. Along with demographics data from Census 2011 and geotagged MGNREGA data of NRM assets.
You can do exciting things like filter out villages which have a high dependency on forest livelihood but haven't diversified as yet into options like fishery.
And layer on this micro-watersheds that do have a high retention of surface water from the monsoon -> post-monsoon season, i.e. have waterbodies that retain water for a long period of time, recognized based on the IndiaSAT intra-annual LULC layers.
Plus drill down to actual waterbodies to see their specific water presence behavior, see if they need rejuvenation support, and track the changing cropping pattern in the zone of influence of the waterbodies.
Further, discover if any of the CoRE stack partners are already working in the area and what kind of plans have their built.
