This is an open-source book with an attached chatbot for querying! And it covers all essentials of machine learning on satellite data. How cool, and how things have changed and are so much easier for everyone to learn and build.
One request though especially to students: Please do not get carried away with stuff that AI can build for you. You need to understand the fundamentals and thoroughly understand what's being built, options not considered, tradeoffs, scalability design decisions, etc. Lately my job has become harder, on the one hand to keep up with the increased pace at which students can build stuff, and on the other to continuously push back on faultlines and poor understanding that fell through the cracks. While you need to strive to know more, it is vital to know what you don't know - ignoring these known unknowns are where most problems arise.
