Hi Mehak,

Sorry for the slow reply. We didn't have the dev call last week because of other commitments but we'll have it this week on Friday at 3pm and that'll be a good time to discuss and also hear from other contributors about their progress.

This is a general message for everyone too. There's a lot of information on the CoRE stack website https://core-stack.org/ and many ideas for problems to pick up on the innovation challenge pages (under Join -> Developer community). There are generally four ways to contribute:

- Try out the dashboards and apps and datasets and report bugs - create issues on github or report to sup...@core-stack.org

- Build your own tools and dashboards using the CoRE stack datasets and APIs. Like check out https://csvat.aaman.eu.cc/ done by Aaman, Saksham, and Rayhan from IIIT Delhi and https://agro-insight.streamlit.app/ done by Sanket from APU

- Contribute new datasets and pipelines to the CoRE stack backend. I request Aman to point to developer docs for people wanting to start on this.

- Contribute to the https://www.explorer.core-stack.org/ frontend. I request Ksheetiz to point to places for anyone to contribute here.

There's a lot more like building new modules on Commons Connect, the data moderation and admin dashboard, and building new types of projects like for tracking forest restoration or farm insights, but these will need a lot more deeper familiarity with the CoRE stack.

Aadi

Hi! I recently joined this group and wanted to introduce myself. I'm interested in contributing but I'm new to this, so I was wondering how I should get started. Are there any tips or beginner-friendly tasks you would recommend? I am an undergraduate student passionate about climate informatics and ML, but I have only done small solo projects till now, for e.g. I am currently working on an urban planning project that uses ML to identify optimal locations for green spaces and water bodies. I want to contribute to real projects and in general, the community; I am passionate about the subject and quick to learn, I would much appreciate some guidance in this regard. Thanks! I'm looking forward to contributing. --

Hi All,

Below is the link to the developer docs, where you can understand how to install the CoRE Stack backend at your end and add a new pipeline in the same fashion as we do:

Also, here is the link to our public APIs and how to use them:

Please reach out to us in case you have any queries.
