Cordova-sqlite ease of development, debugging

Hi All,

we just want to develop a mobile app with a pre-populated DB. I have downloded https://github.com/RikshaDriver/Cordova-PrePopulated-SQLitePlugin the plugin from here and i am able to retrieve data in a sample. we are new to mobile app, javascript. we cannot write 100s of lines of code and later test it.

My Main questions are 

1. It is not easy to test everytime installing and launching on device or emulator (cordova android emulator takes lot of time). Is there any better way. Can i test it on desktop browser (i know native plugins dont work? ). emulate.phonegap.com doesnot seem to work with these plugin. it keeps popping some message box saying some plugin...

2. can i use some other desktop browser based sqlite plugin and write code test it and at the end replace with cordova sqlite plugin files and test it?

3. https://github.com/RikshaDriver/Cordova-PrePopulated-SQLitePlugin this prepopulated sqlite's java file is updated everytime you fix something in the main java  file??

4. How do you debug the code database access code when testing it on a device or emulator

Please guide me on this.

   5. Forgot to add this. For testing, i want the database file(i modify in desktop) to be copied everytime to the device? Is it possible. let me know
