Web Application Developer

The Web Application Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining in-house web-based programming necessary to support specific business goals. This work will include system integration, process automation, user- and purchaser-experience enhancement and business monitoring improvements. This individual will work with the Engineering, Web and Financial Teams to create specifications, develop solutions, create both test and live environments and monitor results as appropriate.
Required background includes:
- A thorough knowledge of standard business practices, including online retail sales, accounting and financial transaction management.
- Extensive experience using standard Internet development tools, including HTML, Perl, Javascript and PHP.
- Experience using multiple-tier APIs for business logic and transactional processing.
- Experience using the Wordpress site management system.
Preferred background includes:
- Experience with NetSuite's SuiteScript programming and design environment.
- Previous work developing diverse system integrations.
- Experience creating encrypted communication streams between applications and a central company server.
