The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio, Texas is seeking applicants for the position of Library Resources and Systems Assistant (LA III) position at the University of the Incarnate Word Libraries. Reporting to the Coordinator of Systems and Licensing, the Library Resources and Systems Assistant will support the UIW Libraries by performing a range of duties related to the setup, maintenance, and updating of library content resources and systems and related data and budget records, including assisting with associated technical problem-solving.
This position will be located at the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Library on the main University of the Incarnate Word campus located at 4301 Broadway, San Antonio, Texas, 78209. The headwaters of the San Antonio River and associated Headwaters Sanctuary are located on the main UIW Campus. The San Antonio Zoo, Witte Museum, and historic Brackenridge Park are all within walking distance of the UIW campus.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree OR 90 credits hours and 1 additional year of relevant work experience.
Work Experience: Three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following functional areas:
- Systems and technical support
- Order and invoice processing with budget tracking
- Records and usage data management and analytics.
Salary Range: $37,000 - $39,000
