Measure bleaching recovery on Mantipora foliosa using Image J software

Hey Coral Network :) 

My name is Carlos Rius. I am helping a high school student research project about coral bleaching using Montipora foliosa in tanks. I am looking for some software to analyze color to assess the grade of recovery after bleaching events. I read you can use color analysis, but I can't find any plugin for ImageJ. Do you know if it is possible to use Histogram analysis on Image J without downloading any special plugins?
