I hope you are all keeping well and dry!

I have begun to attend the Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) meetings on behalf of our office in an effort to better serve our BIAs, resident and parks groups.

 

Attached you will find a copy of the Toronto Police Services'  14 Division Newsletter and the Business Crime Prevention Guide. I think both documents can be of assistance to your members.

 

I was completely impressed by one piece of information that Dave Vickers provided to the group and would like to share that with you.

 In the last 2 years, the crime rate in the area covered by 14 Division has dropped by 40%. In terms of policing, this kind of drop is unheard of. It is a huge accomplishment for the men and women of 14 Division. We are very fortunate to have them serving our community.
