Hi,

Can you please tell me if CopySeq is suitable for use with data from
species other than human? If so what extra steps are necessary
(preparation of a mappability file perhaps)?

Thanks!

Hi,
I'm also working with species other than human and
was wondering if you managed to run copyseq for any other species...

thanks,

Hi Matthew, Hi Shruti,

CopySeq is currently designed to run with human data only. Several input files are necessary to get it running for other species (e.g., G+C content files for GC normalization, copy-number invariable loci to estimate read-depth variance for the variance model, mappability maps). Therefore, it would take some time to adapt it to other species.

Cheers,
Sebastian
