Hi everyone,
I'm a new student who want to study about human genes. However, I'm not very good at programming and things like that, so I cannot understand about twobittofa at all. Can you explain to me how to run this program? What are the requirements? Can I open this program with C++, turbo pascal or so on?
Sorry for this stupid question,
Thanks a lot,
Tsunami

Dear Tsunami,

TwoBitToFa is a program embedded in Jim Kent's source code library and
extracts sequences in fasta format from .2bit files. You can either
compile the whole library or alternatively you can also obtain the
twoBitToFa executable here

http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/admin/exe/

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Sebastian
