Hi,

If we have persistent changes in non-authoritative repo that is not meant to be imported to the authoritative repo, how is it tracked in copybara?

Thanks,

Zhi

Hi!

Normally we do it by excluding the files (origin_files/destination_files). If the changes are in the same set of files we have two options:

   - Use patch.apply. The benefit is that it is reversible, so you can upstream changes easily
   - Use a core.replace transformation to insert the changes or similar. Also dynamic transformations.

Cheers,
Mikel.
