Hello all,
Seems I never mentioned a feature I threw in some time ago, even if its untested/experimental (I really need to get me that magno).
The GPS activity has two features you can access through the menu button:
"Enable Loiter Set"
Enables a selectable target loiter point, i.e., press and hold a location on the map, and a MAVLink message is sent to the copter to use that as the "Guided mode" target
Uses the same altitude as currently recorded by the GPS
"Activate GCS Offset"
Essentially the same idea as above, but maintains a constant delta between the GCS and copter.
If the GCS has moved more than a certain distance (~2m, phone with built in GPS), the loiter position is moved by the same distance.
Put your phone and bluetooth bridge on a vehicle, and watch the copter follow?
As I said above, these are both completely experimental and untested, so use completely at own risk.
If someone tests them though, let me know how they work and what doesn't ! I'd like to know how they behave.
Cheers,
Bart.
