Hey everyone,
We decided it was finally time to use this group that we added you too! We wanted to use this mailing list primarily as a way that we can quickly get prayer requests out to our friends and family. This past Tuesday Debra and I went to see Dr.Wally here in Durham. Debra is RH negative so we were told that we needed to find out my blood type. While there, Debra mentioned that she has had excruciating pain in the back of her ribs (where the kidney is). Dr.Wally immediately gave us a requisition form for an ultrasound of her kidney and ureter. Although we won't know for sure until the test next week, what commonly happens is that during pregnancy, the baby grows and squishes the tube coming out of the kidney, causing a lot of inflammation and pain. Dr.Wally said that this is pretty serious, and it definitely needs to be checked out. Pray for Debra, it's becoming increasingly painful and also it's very difficult to sit through classes.
