Family is coming! (hopefully Canaan knows that)

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to send an update and let you know what's going on.  Debra's mom has been here for a week and a half, awaiting the birth of her first grandchild, she's been working hard helping Debra get the baby room ready for Canaan's arrival!  Right now, Debra's dad is flying from Los Angeles to Toronto.  He can only stay for a week so it was a tough decision to decide when to come since Canaan's day is a mystery.  He will be arriving in Toronto around 2pm EST, if you think of it, pray for him!  He's been extremely busy with work and getting done what needed to be done before he came.  Continue to pray for Debra, each day that goes by seems much longer than the last one. 
Her attitude and heart has been very encouraging to me, I can't imagine what it's like for her to be waiting but she is always reminding me that it is God's timing and that every minute that goes by is not wasted but is used by God in our lives.  It hasn't been easy for her to learn these things, but hard times are when we learn the most about Him!   It reminds me of something one of our teachers said last semester:  We were talking about the difficulties in life and why they happen.  God has given us so much truth in His Word, and He's too good to just keep it a theory.  It's in the hard times that we really get to experience God's truth and provision. 
We will definitely keep you all up date and won't leave you hanging for long once he's come!
