Output Time Points

Dear friends,

Thanks for accepting me into the group.

COPASI works very well in many Time Course stochastic simulations I have been running.  However, the output file is huge because I need to use a very small "Internal Size" of about 0.01.

Is there any way to reduce the number of time points saved in the Report Time-Course file?

Hello Francisco,

You can reduce the output step size without compromising the accuracy
of the stochastic or deterministic solver. The internal step is
determined by the next reaction event time, the desired accuracy or an
internal step size as a method parameter.

Dear Stefan,

Thanks very much for your feedback. Actualy I have tried that but it didn't work. If I increase the time step from 0.01 to 0.1 I receive this message

>EXCEPTION 2022-08-09T05:04:31<
CTrajectoryMethod (12): Internal step limit exceeded.

I there any other parameter I could change to avoid this error message?

In that case you can increase the internal step limit.
