WHA77: Engagement Coordination with GFF *La version française suit* On behalf of the GFF Civil Society Coordination Group (CSCG) and the GFF NGO Host at PAI – we are pleased to inform all GFF CSO/YLO HUB partners of two exciting opportunities: a Workshop Series on Grant Proposal Making, and opportunities for Civil Society and Youth Engagement with the Global Financing Facility (GFF) at the 77th World Health Assembly. 1. Workshop Series on Grant Proposal Making Embark on a 3-session workshop series tailored to empower organizations in crafting compelling grant proposals. Throughout this immersive program, participants will be guided through a step-by-step process aimed at honing their grant proposal writing skills and bolstering their ability to secure essential funding for their initiatives. The workshop will be held in three sessions, unfolding across various sections, including notably: 1. Tuesday May 14, 2024: Part 1 - Identifying and Engaging Target Funders: Gain invaluable insights into effective strategies for identifying potential funders that align with organizational goals. Learn how to strategically engage with them to cultivate fruitful partnerships and secure vital financial support. (Repeat session: Thursday May 16, 2024) 2. Tuesday May 28, 2024: Part 2 - Deciphering the Components of a Winning Proposal: Navigate through the essential elements of a successful grant proposal with precision. From crafting a compelling problem statement to outlining clear objectives, methodology, budgeting, and sustainability plans, master the foundational components that captivate funders' attention. (Repeat session: Friday May 31, 2024) 3. Tuesday June 11, 2024: Part 3 - Crafting Compelling Narratives and Supporting Documents: Unlock the power of storytelling in grant proposals. Discover proven strategies for crafting narratives that resonate deeply with funders, conveying the significance and impact of your initiatives. Explore the critical role of supporting documents such as letters of support and meticulously crafted project timelines in bolstering your proposal's credibility and persuasiveness. (Repeat session: Wednesday June 12, 2024). Upon completion of this workshop series, participants will emerge equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to develop and submit winning grant proposals that effectively communicate their organization's mission, vision, and impact. Civil Society and Youth Engagement with the Global Financing Facility (GFF) - 77th World Health Assembly. The GFF Secretariat would like to know whether some of you will be present in Geneva, Switzerland at the 77th World Health Assembly. We thank those of you who already provided updates and all of you very much in advance for sharing your plans as well any feedback or engagement. The World Health Assembly is the decision-making body of WHO. It is attended by delegations from all WHO Member States and focuses on a specific health agenda prepared by the Executive Board. The main functions of the World Health Assembly are to determine the policies of the Organization, appoint the Director-General, supervise financial policies, and review and approve the proposed programme budget. The 77th World Health Assembly will be held on 27 May - 1 June 2024, in Geneva, Switzerland. WHA77 : Coordination de l'engagement avec le GFF Au nom du Groupe de coordination de la société civile (CSCG) et de l'hote ONG du GFF a PAI, nous avons le plaisir de rappeler à tout.es les partenaires deux opportunités: Une Serie d'ateliers sur l'élaboration de propositions de subvention et l'appel a coordination du GFF pour l'AMS771. 1. Série d'ateliers sur l'élaboration de propositions de subvention Embarquez dans une série d'ateliers virtuels transformative conçue pour autonomiser les organisations dans l'art de rédiger des propositions de subvention convaincantes. Tout au long de ce programme immersif, les participants seront guidés à travers un processus étape par étape visant à perfectionner leurs compétences en rédaction de propositions de subvention et à renforcer leur capacité à obtenir un financement essentiel pour leurs initiatives. L'atelier se déroulera en trois sections essentielles : 14/16 mai: Partie 1 - Identification et Engagement des Financeurs Cibles : Acquérez des insights inestimables sur les stratégies efficaces pour identifier les financeurs potentiels qui sont en accord avec les objectifs organisationnels. Apprenez à les engager stratégiquement pour cultiver des partenariats fructueux et obtenir un soutien financier vital. 28/31 mai: Partie 2 - Déchiffrage des Composantes d'une Proposition Gagnante: Naviguez à travers les éléments essentiels d'une proposition de subvention réussie avec précision. De la formulation d'un énoncé de problème convaincant à l'élaboration d'objectifs clairs, d'une méthodologie, d'un budget et de plans de durabilité, maîtrisez les composantes fondamentales qui captivent l'attention des financeurs. 11/12 juin: Partie 3 - Rédaction de Narrations Convaincantes et de Documents à l'Appui : Libérez le pouvoir du récit dans les propositions de subvention. Découvrez les stratégies éprouvées pour créer des récits qui résonnent profondément avec les financeurs, en transmettant l'importance et l'impact de vos initiatives. Explorez le rôle crucial des documents à l'appui tels que les lettres de soutien et les calendriers de projet méticuleusement élaborés pour renforcer la crédibilité et la persuasion de votre proposition. À l'issue de cette série d'ateliers, les participants seront équipés des connaissances, des compétences et de la confiance nécessaires pour élaborer et soumettre des propositions de subvention gagnantes qui communiquent efficacement la mission, la vision et l'impact de leur organisation.
