I want to develop a random course timetable for universities using Genetic Algorithm (GA) even using JAVA or C++ and I don't have idea about programming so I need some help how to do it. I download many open source but most of them not work with me even require package or some classes miss
So I need someone to help me on it or anyone has any open source code in JAVA for a timetable in the University or school can you please send it to me

You will find some examples therein, but you certainly need to learn Java first.

In most of the applications I download it I gent the error the "the main class is missing" why
Another question what is the best software for JAVA , I run it with Jcreator it is ok or better to use Netbeans?

In the documentation (http://copa.uniandes.edu.co/software/jga/JGA-guide-20050620.pdf) you can find a step-by-step example that will guide you through running the examples with Eclipse, a very nice and powerful environment for Java. In a nutshell, you need to set up a project, add the jars from the JGA distribution, and point to the Java code with the main program. Then, you are ready to go.
