Dear Members,

As Oshkosh finishes up, we have lots of other events happening this month.

August 6, 7 : The Edmonton Air Show at Villeneuve. This fantastic event will include performances by two of our members (David Watson and Bill Carter). COPA 176 will also have a presence there volunteering with aircraft marshalling for the fly-in GA traffic, and we will also have an information tent set up with a static display of Mike's Shinn. We are also doing a pre-CfK demonstration flight for one lucky child.

August 20 - 21:  Fairmont Fly-in Breakfast

August 27:  COPA Flight 176 COPA For Kids event held at Villeneuve airport.

NOTE that we are still looking for volunteers for the Air Show as well as for the COPA For Kids event. For the Air Show, contact Bob or Mike McTurk and for the COPA For Kids event, talk to Bob if you are volunteering as a pilot and to Janis for any other volunteer positions. Every little bit of help is greatly appreciated.
