MEETING:  Our next meeting is at the museum at 19:30 on Thursday, March 2. We will have a presentation by Keith Connors on a SAR mission he was involved with from 1983 - that is still ongoing.

RUST REMOVER:  We are busy making plans for the 2017 Rust Remover and this will be our best one ever. We are planning it for June 11 at Villeneuve Airport [CZVL] and we are encouraging pilots to fly in for the event. This year's theme will be "planning a flight to Kelowna for the COPA National Convention". Hopefully some of our members will also plan to attend the convention. For more information about the convention, there are links on our website as well as on the COPA National website and of course you can tap our regional director Bram Tilroe for information as well. Our Rust Remover information is up on our website. We will be updating regularly as we finalize details and get the registration system up and going.

CHRIS FALCONAR:  Many of you know our local member Chris. If you would like to know more, join Chris and other pilots at a special celebration event for Chris at the museum on Saturday, February 25 at 14:00 at the museum to wish Chris a happy 90th. Chris has been designing and building aircraft through his company, FalconarAvia   If you plan to attend this event, please let Captain Bruce know.

AAIR:  For all aircraft owners, don't forget that you must complete your Annual Airworthiness Information Report. This can now be completed online [  HERE  ]. Enter the AAIR Web Access Code at the bottom left of the page under "Registered Users" (ignore the User Name and Password).

Cheers.
