Ciao Belli!!!!

ooook, with Mari and Bruco we can say that we're aaaaall here!!! still missing only the National Coordinator of APEMH, but no worries, no one is perfect, and we're clowns, so just SMILE!!! he will soon arrive!

I'm very happy for ur feedback, I ask u to continue in this way! I'm really proud of all of you, that between exams, lessons, hospital shifts, still decide to work to deepen the doctor-patient relationship and to work on clowntherapy!!! Gaby, I still have in my veins the emotion of win that prize...maybe 2009 is too near, but if we will continue this feedback when we will start to work for real, well, be prepared cause in 2010 we will all party at the GA :D

The first duty you will have will be this:

We have to know the state of art of the project in your countries: where, how many, how u do the course, any information u know. For this, you will have to contact all the Local Coordinators, and this will take you time. So, while u search for all this informations, we will use the time for another little thing.

so...Answer to this simple question:

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM THIS NET-BASED WORKING GROUP?
what should be our aims, our goals, what we should work on? What are your necessity, wishes?

Please, while answer, look for your favourite clown song, and let us listen with you!

Hola mis queridos payasitos!! (Hello my dear clowns)

How are you? Hope everything is doing great. I also agree with Gaby that we have to work very hard this year so we can achive again the prize for best project. We are clowns, anything is possible!

In Ecuador, the project is still in its first steps. Currently, we are only working in 1 city: Quito. Last year we organized one workshop during summer, and now I'm organizing the second one. For this purpose we count with a foundation called Cecilia Rivadeneira that works in clowntherapy. I think it is the only foundation that provides certified people for doing the courses here in Quito. There are other places that give clown courses but there are not especilized in hospital-working. I am also trying to get in touch with people from other sities so they can get involved in the project.

I think our first goal must be staying in touch and keep writing so we can have more ideas and help each other. Second, we must keep working in the project, so we can work in hospitals as soon as possible and share our experiences (photos, videos, comments). Third, I think we have to get involve more countries, so we can keep growing! Finally it would be nice to organize a meeting and work all together, clowns of different parts of the world smiling and working together, but I think this idea has to be posponed for a while :)

This is one of my favorite songs for kids, it does not have a video but it is a nice song. Hope you like it!

Un abrazo,
Luli

p.s: Mari congratulations!!! I loved the video, it is an example to follow!! My personal goal is to achieve something like that in Ecuador

Hello, dear clowns!
How are you?

Well, I really agree with Luli's words... The most important points of our work must be
- Staying in touch
- Sharing experiences
- Spreading Smile X all over the world

In Brazil, as I've already told you, the project is very loved. 8 different cities work with clowntherapy, and another ones want to start it!

Our bigger difficult is to organize National Trainings... We'd like to do a leveling between the different projects, because each University develops the project on its way, with its rules and own dinamic. So, National trainings could facilitate changes between the clowns and are important to create the project's identity, you know?

Sometimes, we are also very dependant of actors, professional clowns... In fact, they are the most appropriate people to teach us the technique, to help in the beggining... But it's very important that we can train new clowns even without this kind of "professional" help!

Well, these are some rocks on our way (here in Brazil)... Let's start the discussion, let's smile, let's spread our happiness!

Ohh, one of my favorite "clown song" is

Kisses,

Mari
